What began as NWCAVE’s signature Java for Justice Brunch—a daytime fundraising tradition bringing together community leaders, advocates, law enforcement, media, and supporters over brunch—has evolved into an exciting new experience.

The event is now JAVA for Justice Gala: An Evening of True Crime, part of our immersive True Crime Weekend dedicated to justice, victim advocacy, and crime awareness. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening featuring compelling keynote speakers, nationally recognized true crime authors and journalists, survivor and cold-case stories, awards recognizing those advancing justice, exclusive auctions, and opportunities to support NWCAVE’s Advocacy Center for Justice.

The expanded weekend offers attendees even more opportunities to engage through true crime presentations, live case discussions, educational sessions, networking with professionals, and interactive experiences that explore the pursuit of justice while honoring victims and survivors.

SATURDAY, MARCH 6, 9AM-12PM: Crimes, Creators, & Coffee, a FREE event, meet your favorite true crime authors, podcasters, journalists over coffee. No tickets or RSVP needed.

SATURDAY, MARCH 6, 5-8PM: JAVA for Justice Gala, An Evening of True Crime. Join Ashley Korslien, Anne Bremner, Sheryl “Mac” McCollum, Rose Winquist, Dr. Kathie Mathis, Dr. Terri Armenta, and other champions of justice, alongside award-winning investigative journalist Nate Eaton and his daughter Emmy.

This expanded weekend event illustrates NWCAVE’s continued commitment to educating the public, supporting victims, and bringing communities together through meaningful conversations about crime prevention, accountability, and hope. While the format has changed from a morning brunch to an unforgettable evening gala and weekend experience, the mission remains the same: raising awareness, inspiring action, and funding programs that help create a world free from violence.
